Not all 'walks' are done on foot - especially in London. After all, it's tricky reading the paper when walking through the streets of London .... A lot of good walks could be done as well by bike.

People have different reasons and strategies for 'walking' Some just do it for the exercise without, apparently, looking at what's around them. What's good? Round walks, good scenery, interesting history, and, of course, lots of plants and insects ....

One of the best Derbyshire walks sites we've come across is:  http://www.snapthepeaks.co.uk/ there are lots more.
